We are looking for a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) to join the Proton Design team. This role presents the opportunity to shape the future of Proton’s product suite by tackling complex privacy challenges through thoughtful and innovative design. The position is ideal for designers who thrive in a mission-driven and fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to create seamless user experiences.
• You have 5+ years of experience building and shipping digital products at scale, supported by a strong portfolio. • You can translate broad or ambiguous concepts into functional and intuitive user experiences. • You have experience working with or building design systems and are proficient in web and mobile UI, typography, color, and layout. • You have the ability to articulate and advocate for design decisions to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and collaboration. • You possess a keen eye for detail and a deep passion for visual design and user experience.
• Address complex privacy challenges with user-centered design solutions. • Develop sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to introduce new concepts in privacy-focused products. • Collaborate closely with product managers, marketing managers, and developers to deliver intuitive experiences. • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement creative design solutions. • Contribute to and refine the Proton design system for consistent experiences across products. • Create visually engaging elements such as icons and illustrations to enhance user interaction and maintain brand consistency.
