As a Product Designer (Design Systems), you will work within a dedicated team to develop and maintain an operational design system that ensures consistency, accessibility, and efficiency for cross-functional product teams.
• You have proven experience contributing to a Design System at scale. • You are skilled in modular and responsive design methodologies for cross-platform usability. • You have strong visual and interaction design skills. • You understand that creating a Design System requires both cultural and procedural shifts. • You can contribute to ongoing Design System strategy and evangelize best practices through storytelling and communication. • You understand how benchmarks and success metrics drive Design System success and can contribute to tracking them. • You have solid technical knowledge and can collaborate effectively with engineering teammates. • You possess knowledge of accessibility best practices. • You enjoy fostering collaboration and feedback-driven improvements in design processes.
• Learn from product teams and stakeholders to prioritize Design System needs and define future projects. • Collaborate with Design System teammates on foundational styles, components, and processes. • Work with Content Design to create best-practice guidance for components and global interface patterns. • Apply expertise in user-centered design principles to improve the Design System. • Help onboard and educate designers and developers on how to use the Design System effectively. • Foster a collaborative Design System community by communicating changes and collecting feedback.
