• You have 7+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving abilities. • You possess proficiency in Figma and an understanding of design principles such as typography, layout, and composition. • You have experience working in both startup and large tech company environments, demonstrating adaptability and expertise in user-centered design. • You are comfortable leading the design process, mentoring team members, and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and researchers. • You have a keen interest in AI and its applications, enabling you to partner effectively with modeling teams to drive innovative AI-powered interfaces.
• Lead the design process to shape the direction and roadmap of Cohere’s AI-driven products. • Conduct user research, gather insights, and translate findings into actionable design solutions. • Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product managers to develop intuitive and polished user interfaces. • Prototype concepts through front-end code, animation tools such as Rive, or other methods to communicate and test new ideas. • Mentor junior designers and contribute to the professional growth of the entire design team.
