Founding Product Designer at Arondite responsible for shaping the design principles, user experience and product interfaces for next-generation defence software systems.

👤    Who you are

• You have at least 5 years of experience in designing software products, including enterprise-grade applications for desktop and mobile. • You are skilled in user research and conducting structured interviews to gather insights that influence design direction. • You possess deep proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD and have a keen visual design sense. • You’re familiar with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and can collaborate closely with engineers. • You have experience forming and leading design teams and processes, and you’re excited to be the first designer at a high-growth startup. • Ideally, you have prior experience working with geospatial tools, robotic interfaces, or frontend frameworks like React.

📑    What the job involves

• Own and execute end-to-end product and UI design, translating high-level concepts into detailed, usable interfaces. • Conduct in-depth user research in real-world environments, developing empathy and actionable insights to refine product experience. • Collaborate closely with engineers from design through release to ensure feasibility and polish of product designs. • Work across functions including Product, Strategy, and Partnerships to align design goals with user needs and business objectives. • Establish efficient and modern design workflows, toolkits, and systems that scale with the company’s growth. • Play a leading role in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring future design hires as the team expands.
