Staff Product Designer in the Menu Tribe at Gousto, responsible for leading the end-to-end design of the customer meal selection experience.
• A seasoned product designer with a strong portfolio of solving complex problems through elegant design. • Experienced in high-growth or fast-paced environments and able to test and iterate rapidly. • Detail-oriented with expertise in usability, interaction, and visual design best practices. • Skilled in both generative and evaluative user research techniques. • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and transforming unclear challenges into structured, actionable plans. • An excellent communicator who can align cross-functional teams around design objectives. • Passionate about mentoring junior designers and fostering team culture. • Collaborative and empathetic, contributing to a psychologically safe and inclusive work environment.
• Champion the design and user experience of Gousto’s Menu function, enabling customers to easily find and select recipes they’ll love. • Lead product discovery processes, including research and ideation, to uncover user needs and pain points. • Develop end-to-end design solutions, from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and developer-ready assets. • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data teams to iterate and ship solutions quickly and effectively. • Raise the bar for design excellence within the team, promoting high standards for user interface and visual storytelling. • Mentor junior designers and contribute to their ongoing professional development. • Actively shape the team’s culture, design processes, and alignment around user-centered outcomes. • Balance short-term user goals with long-term business strategy to inform impactful design decisions.
