Post Order Design Engineer focused on Fire & Security Systems, responsible for ensuring design quality, compliance, and value-engineered solutions for large projects.
• You have knowledge of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms. • You have experience conducting site surveys and attending client meetings. • You are proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications. • You can manage stakeholders at all levels within and outside the organization. • You can work independently while collaborating with operational teams. • You thrive in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments. • You can obtain security clearances (SC). • Preferred: FIA Advanced Designer certification or working towards it. • Preferred: Knowledge of BIM/Revit. • Preferred: Holding a valid driving license.
• Manage all aspects of Fire & Security system design for projects. • Liaise daily with internal colleagues and external clients. • Work with subcontractors to review and assess quotations. • Ensure design variations and systems comply with customer specifications. • Track and communicate design changes that have cost implications. • Collaborate with new business teams for seamless project handovers. • Organize and prioritize workload effectively as part of a national team. • Develop technical manuals and presentation material.
