Preply is looking for a skilled Product Designer to contribute to its mission of delivering the most beautiful and effective language-learning experience in the world. The role requires deep creative thinking, problem-solving, and a strong understanding of user needs. As a Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop seamless and impactful learning tools. You will play a key role in shaping the design of Preply’s platforms and enhancing the user experience for both learners and tutors. • You have a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design, ideally within tech or Ed-Tech industries. • You have experience in designing consumer-facing, mobile-first products with high user engagement. • You have the ability to conduct and lead research to uncover user needs and translate insights into actionable design solutions. • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to present ideas effectively and align stakeholders. • You are experienced in working with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of design solutions. • You thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement and shared ownership. • You possess a strong portfolio that showcases your skills, design thinking process, and impact on user experience.
• Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to deeply understand the needs and pain points of learners and tutors. • Develop and iterate on design solutions while incorporating user feedback to enhance usability and engagement. • Prototype, test, and refine designs with the goal of improving the learning experience. • Ensure a balance between innovation and practicality, aligning design decisions with business goals. • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Preply’s Design System for consistency and scalability. • Participate in cross-functional discussions and workshops, leveraging insights to influence design strategies. • Advocate for a design-driven approach within the company, ensuring a high-quality user experience across products.
