Arondite is hiring its first Head of Product Design, a critical role responsible for shaping the human experience of its software. This leadership position entails establishing and directing design principles, embedding design systems, and ensuring a design-centric approach to product development. The role requires close collaboration with engineers, the Strategy and Partnerships team, and end-users to develop intuitive and effective interfaces. The Head of Product Design will play a pivotal role in ensuring strong, cohesive, and user-centered designs across Arondite’s product offerings.
• You are a seasoned Product Designer with experience in human-centered design, particularly in complex, technical domains. • You have a strong foundation in interaction and visual design and are proficient with mockup and prototyping tools such as Figma. • You are adept at user research, including conducting field research and usability studies to gather valuable feedback. • You have the ability to collaborate across teams, including engineers and strategy teams, to align design with technical feasibility and strategic goals. • You possess a strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, enabling effective collaboration with developers.
• Lead the development of Arondite's design systems, establishing best practices for interface and interaction design. • Conduct user research, including hands-on engagement with military exercises, to gather feedback and inform design decisions. • Design and prototype workflows, micro-interactions, and visual elements to create a seamless user experience. • Work closely with engineers and the Strategy and Partnerships team to align product designs with technical capabilities and business objectives. • Establish and hire a team of designers as the company scales, fostering a culture of continuous iteration and user-centric design.
