The Product Designer at Seqera will play a crucial role in shaping engaging and sophisticated user experiences. Reporting to the Design Director, the designer will work across teams, including design, product, and engineering, to develop high-quality interfaces. This role entails designing functional and visually appealing products that enable bioinformaticians to leverage cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will possess strong design instincts and a passion for crafting user-centric solutions. • You have a Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or an equivalent relevant field. • You bring at least 4 years of experience as a Product Designer or in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in user-focused design. • Your portfolio showcases strong UI craftsmanship and innovative design thinking. • You possess the ability to independently execute end-to-end design on large, complex products. • You communicate effectively and thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams. • You excel at solving difficult user problems with elegant, intuitive designs. • You have the ability to prototype using tools like Figma, Origami, or code to articulate design decisions clearly. • You demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a drive to understand the 'why' behind user needs and technical constraints. • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment where ambiguity is common.
