Edgefolio is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join its growing team. Reporting to the Head of Product, this role involves driving design initiatives, launching new features, and optimizing the user experience. The Product Designer will work in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams. This role requires both autonomy and teamwork to deliver impactful design solutions. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of product design experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS, startup, scaleup, or FinTech environment. • Experience working directly with clients and commercial teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success. • Familiarity with agile methodologies and working alongside product, data, and engineering teams. • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented setting. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • A numerate degree and/or background is preferred. • Comfortable with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office post-probation at WeWork, Moorgate).
• Conduct user research to develop insights into customer needs and behaviors. • Create personas and user journeys to improve understanding across the team. • Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs throughout the product development cycle. • Collaborate with engineers to ensure high-quality and efficient implementation of designs. • Use data and product analytics to drive design decisions and measure success. • Work with cross-functional teams to refine ways of working, design systems, and improve design capabilities. • Engage directly with customers to explore solutions and test design concepts. • Continuously iterate and optimize the user experience based on feedback and performance metrics.
