👤    Who you are

• You have 3+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications using React Native. • You understand React Native’s component lifecycle and can create reusable components and complex view hierarchies. • You have experience with RESTful APIs, including advanced error handling and request management. • You’re knowledgeable in mobile architecture, persistent storage solutions, and industry-standard design patterns. • You have a strong understanding of unit testing and end-to-end testing within a mobile environment. • You can communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams and thrive in collaborative workspaces. • You are passionate about engineering excellence and mentoring others while embracing feedback and continuous learning. • You are adaptable to working within compliance, regulatory, and secure development environments.

📑    What the job involves

• Collaborate on the development of cross-platform apps using React Native to support Omaze’s social good initiatives. • Write, test, and review mobile app code to ensure high quality and maintainability. • Participate in architectural design and build reusable mobile components. • Engage with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and Designers, to translate requirements into technical deliverables. • Maintain code standards and ensure adherence to best practices for both Android and iOS platforms. • Proactively review peer code and provide insightful feedback on design and implementation details. • Ensure the application’s security, performance, and resilience meet industry standards. • Support feature development from concept through launch, ensuring a seamless user experience.
