The Platform Engineer at 9fin will be responsible for enabling a DevOps culture within the tech team, focusing on providing a world-class developer experience for engineers. This role requires designing and implementing high-quality infrastructure and CI/CD automation to facilitate secure, efficient, and scalable software development. The position offers autonomy to build critical solutions that enhance developer productivity while maintaining security and quality standards.
• Strong experience working with AWS services such as ECS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, S3, and RDS. • Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions including Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, and ELK. • Familiarity with SRE practices, including alerting and incident management tools like OpsGenie and PagerDuty. • Expertise in designing scalable CI/CD pipelines and implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform or Serverless. • Proficiency in Linux, Git, Docker, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. • Strong understanding of Agile development principles and a passion for improving developer experience. • Previous experience in fintech is a plus.
