As a Frontend Software Engineer at Travelex, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the company's web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. You will work with a team of professionals to create high-performance, scalable, and accessible digital experiences. Your role will also include contributing to product discussions and helping ensure technical excellence in all development efforts.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in frontend development, building dynamic and responsive web applications. • You have expertise in TypeScript, React, and frameworks such as Next.js. • Experience with state management libraries like Zustand, Redux, or MobX is an asset. • You are proficient in working with GraphQL/REST APIs and have a solid understanding of browser-based technologies, HTML, CSS, and browser APIs. • You have experience with testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, and Playwright. • You are familiar with CI/CD practices and version control systems like Git. • You have a passion for keeping up with the latest web development trends and emerging technologies.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code to ensure high-quality software. • Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of web applications. • Debug and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain application stability. • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends. • Identify and address technical debt in the codebase to improve efficiency. • Participate in product discussions to provide technical insights and feedback. • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers when required. • Apply best practices in security, performance, and accessibility to all development work.
