As a SQL Developer at Sage Homes, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the company's data infrastructure. The role involves analyzing development requirements, proposing solutions, and implementing database components to support various projects. You will also contribute to system testing, documentation, integration development, and training efforts. This position is based in London on a hybrid contract, offering both onsite collaboration and remote flexibility.

👤    Who you are

• You have advanced proficiency in MS SQL, including SSRS and SSIS, with experience in Azure data platforms such as Power BI and Fabric. • You possess hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 development and ERP integration, with expertise in platforms like Aareon QL being a plus. • You have strong skills in Power Platform development, including PowerApps and Power Automate, to streamline workflow automation. • You are well-versed in DevOps methodologies, software deployment lifecycles, and Agile project management, including writing Epics, Personas, and User Stories. • You have experience with software testing, documenting testing procedures, and identifying bugs or enhancements to improve performance. • You are proficient in project and process management tools such as Jira and have expertise in whiteboard process mapping (OPM). • Desirable skills include knowledge of data architecture, UML modeling, and experience with Data Warehouse and Data Lake design, particularly Microsoft OneLake.

• Define and develop SQL solutions within the Sage development framework to support business processes. • Write and execute comprehensive system testing to ensure optimal performance and functionality. • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and develop highly efficient, scalable database solutions. • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of Sage’s development framework to enhance system efficiency. • Maintain thorough documentation of release procedures and code to ensure professional data governance standards. • Support high-risk process design and documentation to align with Sage’s operational standards. • Prepare necessary status reports and track development progress to keep relevant teams updated. • Develop user sign-off documentation in accordance with Sage PMO standards to ensure well-structured deployments.
