Senior AI Ops Software Engineer responsible for developing AI-powered applications to streamline business operations across Sales, Customer Success, and Finance.
• You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years working on AI-powered applications or a strong willingness to learn AI technologies. • You are proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and AWS serverless tools (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Aurora). • You have a deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, including prompt engineering, OpenAI APIs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.), or are eager to learn. • You have DevOps experience with CI/CD automation, monitoring, and infrastructure as code. • You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design and implement AI solutions for business operations. • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with autonomy.
• Own and lead the development of AI-powered applications that improve business operations, leveraging AWS serverless technologies. • Design and implement new features based on internal operational needs, collaborating with stakeholders across teams. • Develop and optimize AI workflows, including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for efficient AI model usage. • Architect scalable infrastructure, including databases and vector search technologies, to support AI solutions. • Implement monitoring, logging, and analytics to enhance application reliability and adoption. • Lead the adoption of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate AI-driven deployments and improve testing processes. • Optimize AI-related costs and performance, ensuring efficient use of OpenAI APIs, Pinecone, AWS, and other third-party AI services. • Stay updated on advancements in AI/ML, assessing new technologies for potential adoption within AI-powered applications. • Evaluate and make build-vs-buy decisions, determining when to develop proprietary solutions or integrate third-party AI tools. • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate AI applications with the company’s broader data ecosystem and business intelligence tools.
