Believ is seeking an experienced Mobile App Engineer to develop and optimize its customer-facing mobile application and web portal. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Mobile App Engineer will focus on enhancing the in-house Charge Point Management System (CPMS) and achieving feature parity with an existing SaaS solution. After migration, the role will pivot to building innovative features for iOS and Android users to improve the customer experience. This individual will play a key role in mobile development using Swift and Kotlin while ensuring high performance and seamless API integrations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be critical to the success of this role.

👤    Who you are

• Proven experience developing and launching mobile applications for iOS and Android. • Familiarity with performance profiling tools and debugging techniques. • Experience working with backend integration for real-time data synchronization. • Knowledge of Agile development processes and version control tools like Git. • Ability to understand business context and long-term technical implications. • Willing to innovate and proactively seek opportunities for impact. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Proficiency in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android), with hands-on experience in API Integration and backend technologies such as Python and FastAPI.

📑    What the job involves

• Develop and maintain high-quality native mobile applications for iOS and Android. • Optimize mobile applications for speed, memory usage, and battery efficiency. • Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs developed in FastAPI for real-time data synchronization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align app features with CPMS functionalities and ensure OCPP/OCPI protocol integration. • Write and maintain automated tests to ensure application stability and quality. • Ensure seamless backend integrations with containerized environments using Docker. • Take ownership of mobile app development by considering long-term business impacts.
