As a Software Test Engineer at CoMind, you will be an integral part of the Software Team, actively participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your primary focus will be on software and integration testing for medical device software. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure product safety and effectiveness through rigorous Verification and Validation (V&V) processes. This role requires deep expertise in software testing, regulatory compliance, and developing automation strategies to advance CoMind’s cutting-edge neuromonitoring technology. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of life-saving medical devices.

👤    Who you are

• Experienced in software testing with at least 5 years in complex or safety-critical system environments. • Skilled in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python. • Familiar with highly regulated industries, ideally in medical device development. • Proficient in developing test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and working with multi-tasking systems involving AI/ML applications. • Knowledgeable in best practices for software development, agile methodologies, and industry standards for medical technology. • Strong in problem-solving, debugging, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

📑    What the job involves

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies covering planning, execution, and reporting. • Ensure adherence to industry regulations such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971, IEC 62366, ISO 13485, and FDA cybersecurity requirements. • Lead formal Software Verification and Validation (V&V) processes to maintain product integrity and compliance. • Optimize testing procedures through continuous improvement and process enhancements. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software-related challenges.
