The Financial Markets (FM) & Group Treasury (GT) Investing department at ING is recruiting an IT Ops Engineer to support the implementation of a new front-to-back cross-asset margin, collateral, and inventory management system as part of ING’s Global Securities Finance (GSF) digitalization strategy.
• You have 5+ years of experience in an Ops or DevOps role within IT, ideally within Financial Markets. • You possess strong knowledge of Financial Markets and the associated platforms. • You have expertise in IT service management, automation scripting, and supporting vendor-built applications. • You are proficient in databases such as SQL and Sybase, as well as operating systems, scheduling, and system monitoring tools. • You can build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers. • You have experience with IT risk controls, Agile methodology, MQ messaging, SQL queries, and certificate management (desirable).
• Establish technical ownership of existing Pirum post-trade and collateral management services. • Collaborate with vendors and ING architects to define and implement a secure and robust technical architecture for the new service. • Design and implement messaging solutions for inventory data delivery. • Define and execute the operational control model for the service. • Serve as the primary IT Ops point of contact for project deliverables. • Lead the technical efforts for IT risk-related deliverables in collaboration with the IT risk team in Romania. • Maintain the technical relationship with vendors post-implementation, participating in ongoing product enhancements and service reviews.
