We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our User Journeys team at Tessl. In this role, you will contribute to building real-time AI-native workflows, tools, and interfaces that will transform software development. You will closely collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment.

👤    Who you are

• You have extensive experience (typically 6+ years) as a software engineer, developing complex products in diverse environments. • You possess deep expertise in React and a strong understanding of its core concepts. • You have a track record of building Node.js services, including designing and scaling APIs in production. • You thrive in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments and ideally have experience in early-stage startups. • You are deeply curious about AI and its potential to drive transformation in software engineering. • Bonus points if you have experience with AI products, real-time collaboration (e.g., CRDTs like Yjs), WYSIWYG editors like Tiptap, or IDE extensions and CLI tools.

📑    What the job involves

• Develop and refine intuitive user interactions in our Tiptap-based editor, enhancing usability and engagement. • Build CLI tools and IDE extensions that empower developers to seamlessly interact with Tessl’s AI-native platform. • Integrate third-party services, such as notifications, to focus on Tessl’s core capabilities while extending platform functionality. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions supporting real-time streaming and collaboration. • Establish end-to-end testing strategies to enhance confidence in deploying new features to production. • Author decision documents to articulate technical visions for new product capabilities and align with the wider engineering team.
