Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• You have experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# with strong knowledge of object-oriented design. • You have experience contributing to system architecture and design, including scaling, reliability, and design patterns. • You possess knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, and testing. • You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively to both technical and business audiences.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud computing systems. • Take technical ownership of services and influence coding best practices within the team. • Investigate customer issues and dive deep into root causes to ensure high system reliability. • Develop and automate solutions to improve performance, deployment, and monitoring of cloud-based services. • Participate in peer code reviews, system architecture planning, and the continuous improvement of engineering processes. • Support cloud services, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving complex operational challenges.
