Principal Software Engineer at Contilio, responsible for leading the development and deployment of the next-generation 3D AI analytics platform for the construction industry. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology, define system architecture, and collaborate with product and vision teams to shape customer-driven solutions.
• A highly skilled engineer with at least 7 years of experience designing and implementing maintainable, high-quality enterprise or B2B software. • Experienced in managing software projects from design to deployment with at least 2 years of direct leadership in project implementation. • Proficient in Python and familiar with a secondary object-oriented programming language, as well as RDBMS and Postgres. • Comfortable with AWS (or equivalent cloud services) and containerization tools such as Docker. • Holding an MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field. • A self-starter and problem solver, eager to apply technical expertise to create real-world impact. • Strong in translating customer requirements into scalable software solutions while working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Lead and implement software development and deployment, including system architecture design, backend engineering, database integrations, and cloud performance optimization. • Establish and implement software development best practices, including development KPIs, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions. • Work closely with vision and product teams to define and deliver customer-driven solutions. • Coach and mentor junior team members to strengthen overall team expertise. • Participate in hiring and recruitment initiatives to build a strong software team.
